The 10-Minute Self-Care Ritual for Stressful Weeks

Stress doesn’t just live in your calendar. It shows up in your skin, your breath, and the way you move through your day.

During busy seasons, your glow can feel like it’s gone into hiding. But you don’t need a full spa day to come back to yourself. Just ten minutes of care and intention can shift everything.

This simple ritual was created to help our salon clients feel more grounded, present, and refreshed, no matter how full life gets.

Try it once. Then try it again. This is your time.

Step 1: Set the Space (1 minute)

Create a calm corner.

  • Dim the lights

  • Light a candle or use a scent that soothes you

  • Press play on a calming playlist or white noise

Let your body register. Something soft is about to happen.

Step 2: Cleanse and Refresh (3 minutes)

Rinse away the day.

Wash your face with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Pat dry. Mist your skin with a hydrating toner or try Glo Skin Beauty’s HA Revice Hyaluronic Mist.

Comb your hair, or gently run your fingers through the strands.

This moment clears away buildup, physical and emotional.

Step 3: Nourish and Protect (4 minutes)

Support your skin with care.

Apply a calming serum, followed by your favorite moisturizer or facial oil. Massage it in slowly, using upward strokes.

Step 4: Pause and Breathe (2 minutes)

Take four slow, intentional breaths.

Let each exhale tell your nervous system it’s safe to slow down.

Pick one evening each week and make this sacred. A Tuesday night reset. A Sunday evening ritual. Or a quiet midday pause between meetings.
